“Warhol” Inspired Holiday Card

I was challenged by the client to re-create two of Andy Warhol’s paintings; Self Portrait and Thanksgiving Dinner.  I was given photos by the client which were then edited in Photoshop to give them a hand painted painted look.

There were composites involved, from the front image with the canvas painting to the inside and back of the card with the composite windows and garland.

I then had it printed on linen stock with matching linen envelopes to add to the look and texture of the final piece.
